Loy Krathong is a Thai festival celebrated annually throughout Thailand to pay respect to the goddess of water.
In celebration of Loy Krathong, our kindergarten and primary students wore their Thai attire. At the same time, our Thai department taught our students how to make a krathong, a floating lantern made from banana leaves. During this festival, people gather in the lakes, rivers and canals to release their krathongs in the evening.
