MAP Test at PAIS

The usual MAP test at Pan-Asia International School was given to Grade 3 to Grade 10. This year’s MAP Test included Kindergarten 3, and Grades 1 to 11. The MAP test includes Math, Science and Language. The test was conducted in the library and MAC lab. Students can use an iPad, laptop, or personal computer to access the NWEA MAP website. The school has also provided these devices to those students who were not able to bring their own.

Initially, they were sent the link to a lockdown browser for different interfaces such us Windows and Mac through the students’ e-mail accounts prior to the scheduled examination. An official letter and printed schedule were also properly disseminated through every channel of communication.

MAP, or the Measure of Academic Progress, is a computerized adaptive test which helps teachers, parents, and administrators improve learning for all students and make informed decisions to promote a child’s academic growth.
