The Pan Asia International School paid respect to Queen Sirikit in the 9th reign and all the mothers in Thailand during the Mother’s Day celebration last August 9, 2019, at the school auditorium. With Palawee Annanub as the emcee, she called out the school’s Chairman Dr. Husni Hamad to deliver the opening speech in front of the students(KG-HS), parents, teachers, and staff. Also, a representative from the mother’s side, Mrs. Walaa Kattan delivered an inspiring speech on how mothers are important and their contribution to society. The celebration aims to promote gratitude, love, and understanding towards our mothers.
The primary Arabic students performed onstage a dance while student representatives from each grade offered flowers to their mothers and two students Nadia Pakdeecharoen and Watchara Khemaphirat recited the rhythm of prose. It was a successful celebration with primary students saying “ I love my mom”.
Thai Department Head, T. Farida spearheaded the event together with the rest of the Thai department that made this event not just a success but an event to remember.
